Afterschool

School-age children need a place to feel safe, ”hangout” with friends and have fun after school. They need a place to call their own. In our Children’s Den we provide the answer! Here music, arts and crafts, baking classes, board games, computers, drama, a reading area and limited television are available in comfortable surroundings.

Parents can count on the availability of a complete out of school programme, which includes a full hot meal, or snack as required, help with homework, indoor and outdoor activities and an opportunity to make new friends.

When the children are off school during Christmas, Easter and mid-term breaks they participate in organised activity programmes.

During the summer months a special “Summer Camp” is organised with off-site activities such as swimming, trips to the sea-side, Zoo, Knocksink nature reserve and the cinema etc.
